The EASA Annual Safety Review (ASR) for 2016 covers a review of aviation safety in Europe for 2015.

In the section Commercial Air Transport Aeroplanes there was one fatal accident in Europe in 2015, which was the Germanwings accident on 24 March 2015. There was a higher number of non‑fatal accidents involving EASA Member States operators in 2015 than the 10-year average. At the same time, there was a 24% reduction in the number of Serious Incidents against the 10 year average.
